Whether it’s over the phone, through email or in person, Drew will listen, ask questions and enjoy getting to know you and all about your loved one. This first visit can be as short as 20 minutes or last hours – it’s up to you; Drew will spend as much time as you want.
After your first visit, Drew will begin designing a unique memorial based off the input you provide (but he will occasionaly stray if he thinks there’s something really cool you ought to consider). He will then send them to you and together you will work on any revisions you may desire. And don’t worry, he never gets upset if you ask him to change something!
After you have selected the design you like best, Drew will then give you the value. If you are pleased with it, great! If not, he will explain to you what elements could be removed or added to get the value where you are comfortable. Once the final design is approved, your memorial will be created and Drew will schedule an installation date.
When thinking about how monuments were sold and created, Drew and Kara Bott knew there had to be a better way. Purchasing a memorial was treated as a cut-and-paste transaction, where clients were asked to pick a stone out of a catalog and ‘personalize’ it by selecting a clipart image from (you guessed it) another catalog.
We are artists. We want to collaborate with you. We want to change how you feel about cemeteries. We know you don’t want to purchase a memorial, so we promise not to sell you one. We want to provide a healing experience for you and your family.
Drew Bott is considered by his peers to be one of the premier designers in North America. He has spoken at national and regional monument conventions and been asked to help instruct monument designers on the art of design.
Drew is the designer, crafter and installer of every work of art at Bott Monument. He handles all emails, calls and visits to the office.
Kara is the CFO and Drew’s right-hand woman on all installations.
These are the girls that make the trips a lot of fun. They are responsible for taking pictures and creating time lapse videos. If they are not working, you will probably find them reading a book somewhere.
